Why brands stall at wholesale

The buyers who move pallets aren’t browsing your listing.

Good products stay in the same handful of stores for years, not because buyers said no, but because nobody asked them.

15–25% commission

Marketplaces charge you to wait

Wholesale marketplaces list you next to thousands of brands and take a cut of every order. Direct outreach costs a few dollars per buyer and the relationship is yours.

$3–8kper trade show

Trade shows are a lottery

Booth, travel, samples, four days away from the business, and a stack of business cards you never follow up on. The same buyers read email at their desk.

6–10weeks ahead

Buyers decide before the shelf resets

Shelves reset in spring and autumn. Buyers fill the slots weeks earlier. If you are not in their inbox by then, the answer is “next season”, every season.

How it works

Four steps. No sales hire, no list to buy, no cold-email tool to configure.

  1. 1

    Paste your product

A product link or a sentence. We read the name, price and category and rank the buyer types that stock products like it.

  2. 2

    We find the buyers

Real US companies in that category, the person who buys there, and an email verified before anything is sent.

  3. 3

Emails go out in your name

Each buyer gets one short personal email written from your product and their store. Compliance footers and unsubscribe are handled.

  4. 4

    Replies come back sorted

Interested, wants pricing, wants a sample, not now. Move the good ones across a deal board from interested to order.

What you get

Real buyers, real emails, real replies.

Not a spreadsheet of names. Conversations with people who can put your product on a shelf.

What a buyer receives

One short email. Written from your product and their store. Sent by you.

No template blast, no “Dear Sir/Madam”, no tracking pixel. Plain text that reads like a founder wrote it, because it is sent as you.

  • Under 120 words, one ask, fits on a phone screen.
  • Your wholesale price, MOQ and sample offer, pulled from your product page.
  • Your name, your postal address, a working unsubscribe. Every time.
  • You approve the first campaign before anything goes out.

Martin Mecar, founder of WholesalePilot

“I built WholesalePilot because I sold products myself and every wholesale channel wanted me to wait: wait to be discovered on a marketplace, wait for a buyer to walk past the booth, wait for a stockists form nobody reads. Buyers answer a short, honest email about a product that fits their shelf. The tool just makes sure that email goes to the right person, with a real address, and that you never have to write it from a blank page.”

FAQ

Before you start

Where do the buyers come from?
We search real US businesses that match your product category, stores, distributors and wholesalers, then find the person who buys and verify their email before anything is sent. No purchased or leaked lists. If we cannot find at least a handful of real buyers for your product, we tell you instead of inventing them.
Do the emails really go out in my name?
Yes. You set your name, company and postal address once. Each buyer gets a short personal email from you, with the unsubscribe and compliance footers handled automatically. Replies land in your dashboard and in your inbox.
Is this compliant? I don’t want my domain flagged.
Every email carries your sender name, a physical address and a one-click unsubscribe, as CAN-SPAM requires for business email in the US. Sending is paced with a warm-up, addresses are verified before send, and any reply, bounce or unsubscribe stops that buyer’s sequence the same day. We only contact US business addresses.
What does it cost to try?
Nothing. Your first buyers are free after you sign up, no credit card. Paid plans start when you want more buyers each month, and unused buyers roll into your balance.
What if nobody replies?
You only pay per buyer contacted. Most brands see the first replies within a few days, and you can pause or change the buyer type mid-campaign. Buyers answer when the product fits the shelf and the email is short, so we keep both true.
Does it work for my category?
It works best for physical products with an independent-retail channel: food and beverage, pet, beauty and personal care, supplements, home and gift, apparel and accessories. Paste your product and the free preview shows you the buyer types and the first companies before you decide.
